Shalders B&B
Shetland Isles
Activities
Because Shetland is far to the north (the 60th parallel crosses our mainland about 5 miles north of Levenwick) during the mid-summer months we enjoy many hours of daylight and on the longest day it really only gets fully dark for about an hour. We call this time of year the “Simmer Dim” and it makes up for all the dark days of winter. If the weather’s fine why not have a game of golf at midnight or a barbecue on the beach?
